So There Is This Thing Called VidCon…

I was going to blog about going to VidCon, but then I decided that since I just went to a “Video Conference”, that it would be best for me to actually make a video about it.

If you couldn’t tell from the video, the trip was amazing! It was such a great week and I was thrilled that I got to spend it with such a great group of people. The great thing about being from the Internet is that we had already created friendships and it took absolutely no time to bond, VidCon was pretty much just to seal the deal.

I have heard about the “VidCon Cold” from past attendees of VidCon, but I was lucky enough to not get that after this year. Instead, I feel like I have a massive “VidCon Hangover”1. Between meeting everyone, getting information from panels, then dealing with my flight delays, and finally once home, jumping straight into work, I feel like I would take the cold any day over the hangover.

Although leaving felt like a season finale of The Real World, I knew that it wasn’t really coming to an end. Just minutes after giving goodbye hugs cuddlez2, we were still tweeting and texting3.

It’s not even a week past the closing of VidCon and we are already planning for 2013 and I we would love to see you there! Let me know if you are interested in more information and I will add you to the Facebook group. I will also be uploading all of my photos later this week and that will hopefully give you an understanding of the awesomeness of the event.

Now that I am slowly getting over the hangover, I am even more eager to make video. The only thing is that my creativity mojo is at an all-time low. It’s not that I can’t be creative, it’s that between a full-time job, another part-time job, and getting ready to go back to school, I just don’t have the time to be creative. I feel like you guys know me just as much as I know myself (if not more), so tell me what you would like to see. Is it more vlogs, if so what should I vlog about? You know what, just talking about this, I am coming up with ideas already. But, still let me know what you think!

In wrapping up this wrap-up4, I’d like to leave you with a tweet that I wrote shortly after everyone left the hotel and I was the last one left.

One thing I learned at VidCon is that the Internet is forever. It and the people in it aren’t going anywhere. I less than three you guys!

Until next time, see you around the Internet!
